The scores obtained in the Musketry Courge were, generally

satisfactory, in spite of the ad light and strong winds

which prevailed for the greater part of the time, making

the firing difficult at the longer ranges; particularly

during the "Standard Test" when a strong 4 o'clock wind was

blowing, necessitating "aicing off" to the extent of nearly

half way between the targets, at 500 yards.
